We’ve been hard at work, finalizing details for this year’s Mission Conference, and it really looks like it will be a fabulous week. Six different sets of visiting missionaries will be coming, all representing fields we don’t already support. I’ve promoted it at church as a “free trip around the world, minus lost luggage and expensive passports.”
So many things are in place to bless our missionaries. People have donated some really nice clothes for them to go through, others have given to restock the mission closet (normally, that’s my pleasure to do, but lately I haven’t been up to finding all those deals), and still others have brought things in to assemble baskets with individually wrapped snacks in them, for the missionaries to enjoy.
I hope to be able to blog during the day while the kids are doing school, although my nights this week are definitely spoken for.
