Do you love to save money? Enjoy having the store actually pay you to shop there? Maybe you’re not quite there yet, but you’d like to be. Come along and learn how to be a couponer extraordinaire. A frugal zealot. A diva of deals. If I can do it, you can, too. And I’m here to help, every step of the way.
I love so many things about saving. It’s hard to explain the thrill of getting a good deal to someone who just doesn’t get “that coupon thing.” But it’s more than that. I love how God allows our money to stretch even farther because we’re being good stewards of what He has provided. Helping out friends and family with items I couldn’t afford if I had paid full price. Stocking the mission closet at church for pennies on the dollar. Showing other people how to get great deals, and getting excited with them when they share how it has made things better for their families. I’m convinced that I am blessed so I can be a blessing to others.
Why Luv2BFrugal?
In March 2008 while looking for an Easter cookie recipe online, I stumbled across an e-book about saving at the grocery store. I bought and downloaded the book, devoured its contents, and set out to see if it really worked. (It does, by the way!) Who knows? Maybe I’ll write my own e-book!
I started Luv2BFrugal because I would tell the ladies at church about a sale or freebie, and I got tired of repeating the same information over and over again. When I discovered I could start a blog (and that it was free!), I did! Luv2BFrugal was started in May 2008. It was so much easier to say, “I found a great deal, and I posted about it here.”
A Little About Me
I’m Julie… a mom to the three greatest homeschooled blessings on the planet: Kimberlie (1995), Taylor (1997), and Zachary (2002), as well as the blessed wife of a handsome yet incredibly busy pastor in rural Tennessee. When I’m not making my own laundry soap or blogging about it, I love to read, write, scrapbook, save money, and spend time with family.
