Better than FREE Starbucks Refreshers @Walgreens!

starbucks-refreshersIf you still have the Pepsi Moments to Save insert from 4/29, now’s the time to dig it out. There’s a coupon in there for a FREE Starbucks Refreshers drink (you can read about the drink here). FREE is always good, but when they pay you to take it out of the store? That’s what I’m talking about!

Here’s how to make the most of this deal:

This week only, you can get a 99 cent Register Reward when you buy 1 Starbucks Refreshers at Walgreens! I went yesterday, used my FREE coupon, paid 8 cents tax, and got a $.99 Register Reward to spend on something else! Woot!

Remember that if you have more than one coupon, you’ll need to use each coupon separately. Otherwise, you’ll get only 1 Register Reward.

Happy Saving!

My Ebates Big Fat Check Arrived Yesterday!

Ebates          Yesterday I received another Ebates “Big Fat Check” (their words, not mine) for ordering items online that I would be ordering anyway. It’s supposed to come around May 15 for purchases I’ve made in the previous quarter. I say “around,” because I discovered that, since I signed up to get my Ebates windfall deposited into my PayPal account instead of waiting for a paper check, I’ve started getting it early! Sweet!
I’ve been an Ebates member since last July of 2008, and since that time, I’ve been rebated several hundred dollars (yes, you read that correctly!) just by going through Ebates before I make my purchases. I try to spread the word because it physically pains me to see others making ordering decisions and not getting the most out of it. Seriously. Just like it makes me cringe to pay for something at full price.
My brother and other friends have gotten on the Ebates bandwagon, including my Dad, who now says he goes to Ebates first when he’s making an online purchase to see if his store is listed. Even my mom has recently seen the light and become a member of Ebates. She proudly told me Saturday that she’s already earned over $10! Plus, she got a $10 gift card to Target when she signed up and made her first qualifying purchase. See what I mean about FREE money?
If you haven’t already signed up for Ebates, and you do ANY amount of online purchasing, I highly recommend that you sign up. There are over 1200 online stores that will net you cash back at Ebates. Right now they’re offering a $10 gift card to Target, Home Depot, or Barnes and Noble as a bonus for signing up. Best of all, when you refer your friends after you sign up, you will receive an additional $5 bonus when they make their first purchase of at least $25 through Ebates. Get started with Ebates here.
P.S. If you’ve signed up already, remember that you won’t receive your $10 gift card until you make a purchase of $25 or more!
(Note: The links in this post are referral links. Please see my Disclosure Policy here.)
P.S. If you’ve signed up for Ebates, remember to make your qualifying purchase of at least $25 in order to get your $10 gift card!

It’s back! FREE Lifetime Subscription to Menu Planning Service!

This offer is back!

If you haven’t signed up for this yet, I encourage you to do so. I’m really enjoying my FREE subscription! It was so nice to open my inbox this week and find recipes already planned out with Kroger’s sales already factored in!

Food on the Table is an easy meal planning service that is based on sales at local grocery stores, although you can select meals, then subtract items that you already have in your pantry. Your free membership allows you to plan up to three meals per week, but I was also able to select more than the 3 free meals, without entering ANY payment information!

SPECIAL OFFER: Use promo code: SPRINGFREE to get the service for FREE for life!

You can choose what type of recipe you want (turkey, chicken, no meat, beef, pork, etc.), and select your store. I was able to choose from Kroger, Food Lion, and Publix, and it told me what items were on the recipes I chose, that are on sale this week. Sweet!

To get the FREE lifetime membership,  go here and use coupon code SPRINGFREE.

Note: The links in this post are my referral links. Read my Disclosure Policy.

FREE Bowling for Kids This Summer!

Looking for a frugal way to keep the kids active yet cool this summer, and spend time with the family at the same time? Kids Bowl Free is a program in which children may play two FREE games of bowling each day this summer, which is a potential savings of over $500 per child! I’m excited about this because this is the first year I’ve noticed Tullahoma Lanes on the list of participating bowling centers!

For our local bowling center, the program runs from May 1-September 3. Your dates and times may vary by bowling center. You are responsible for shoe rental (or you can take your own). You do have to register your children at

The fun’s not just for kids! For $24.95, you can purchase a family pass which allows up to 4 adults to bowl 2 free games each day for the entire summer, right along with the kids! The same shoe rental policy applies. That’s helpful for our family, because at Tullahoma Lanes, the age limit is 15 and under, so our 16-year-old will be able to play under the family pass. Each week, you will need to log into your account to print your passes.

Kids Bowl Free is in 46 different states plus Canada. To find out if there is a participating bowling center near you , go here.

For more information, visit Kids Bowl Free on Facebook , Twitter, or on their website.

Disclosure: I was provided with Kids Bowl Free passes from Debutante Media at no cost. All opinions regarding the product are my own.
