As you probably know, Kroger is having a General Mills FREE milk (or $3 off) promo this week and next week! (See a complete list of participating items in my Kroger coupon match-up post.) Purchase any four participating General Mills products, and you will either receive free milk (up to $3; limit of 2) or receive $3 off your shopping order!
To help promote the General Mills Promo, I have been provided a $25 Kroger gift card to see how many groceries I can get with this promo! Want to do the same? Good, because MyBlogSpark has offered to provide a $25 Kroger gift card to one of my readers!
All you need to do to enter to win a $25 Kroger gift card is to use the form below, telling me what items you plan to stock up on during this General Mills Promo. The giveaway begins on 11/16 and will end at 11:59 PM on 11/19. Limit one entry per person. I know that’s a short giveaway, but that should give the companies sponsoring the giveaway enough time to mail your card. I want you to be able to take advantage of the General Mills promo which will end on 11/26! I’ll be posting pictures of what I buy with my gift card, too.
Note: The gift card, information, and giveaway have all been provided by Kroger and General Mills through MyBlogSpark.
There. I admitted it. For all the talents I might possess, hospitality is not a natural one for me. Neither is cooking, although my family has yet to starve. But just because cooking isn’t my natural God-given ability doesn’t absolve me of my responsibilities for doing it. The same goes for hospitality.
It’s not a matter of having a perfect-looking house before people come to visit. Somehow I have to believe that as long as I am willing to practice hospitality and spend my time welcoming others to my home, God will be pleased, even if the house isn’t spotless or the food isn’t perfect. And maybe “practice” is exactly what I need, since surely the more I do it, the more natural hospitality will be…and God can use me to be a blessing to someone else in the process.
The Ever Grateful Collection
When DaySpring sent me this beautiful apron, a part of their Ever Grateful collection, I was reminded again about hospitality. The apron itself has a gentle reminder embroidered on the front: “Ever blessed, ever grateful.” Although it might not help my house look great (which isn’t the point of hospitality anyway, right?), it is a great reminder about why we should be hospitable anyway. We are blessed to be a blessing! Take a look at some of the beautiful items in this collection which are on sale right now: table runner, napkins, placemats, etc. When you visit the inspired deals website, you also find coupon codes for other items, including one for 50% off the cute wooden caddy pictured above!
I’m excited to offer a $20 giveaway to the DaySpring online store for one of my readers to win, courtesy of DaySpring’s incourage deals. Amazingly enough, the Ever Grateful apron pictured here is on sale right now for just $12.49, so if you’re the winner, you could actually buy this and still have more credit to spend!
This giveaway will end on Tuesday, 11/15 at 11:59 PM Central Time. You may enter once per day. To enter the giveaway, go to the DaySpring store and tell me which item(s) you would order if you won.
*I received an Ever Grateful Apron from DaySpring’s inspired deals free of charge for the purpose of review. No compensation was given in exchange for this review, and all opinions stated here are my own.*
Giveaway Update: If the winner is from Nashville, he/she will receive a FREE Michaelangelo’s save, pictured below. If the winner is from a different state or area, he/she will receive a $15 credit to Eversave!
Pizza is one of my favorite foods. When I can get it at a discount, I’m an even happier camper. And it doesn’t get any cheaper than FREE! That’s why I was excited to get an email from Eversave, asking if they could give away some free pizza on my blog. (They didn’t have to ask twice!) Want to win? Read on!
Besides the giveaway, Eversave is also offering a great pizza “save” (that’s Eversave’s name for a deal) as a nationwide deal for everyone in many local pizza eateries across the nation. It is available from Friday, 10/14 through Monday, 10/17. Limit 1 save per person, but you are allowed to buy more as gifts. For Nashville, you can get $15 worth of Michelangelo’s Pizza for just $7. Plus, when you sign up for Eversave, you’ll get an automatic credit of $3 in your account, making this deal only $4! Tell a friend about Eversave and you’ll get an additional $10 to spend with Eversave when they make their first purchase.
It’s been an incredibly busy weekend, although I’m happy to report that our homeschool progress reports are now in the mail, we have filled out the required paperwork at the county board of education for my oldest child to get her permit, and the bulletin board at church is halfway done.
I’m sorry I’m just now getting to posting the winner of the $35 CSN gift certificate. Thanks to all who entered. I used Random.org to choose an entry at random. The winner was Tim (tahearn@…). I’ve already emailed the winner with instructions on how to claim his prize, which he claimed in the comments of his entry would be a fire extinguisher.
Again, I appreciate all the entries. I’ll be looking for more things to give away in the near future.
Luv2BFrugal is a fun, encouraging blog dedicated to sharing great deals, spreading some mom-related cheer, learning how to save, and finding ways to be a blessing to others. Thanks for coming! I'm glad you're here!
