Groupon: $10 for $20 worth of Hand-Stamped Jewelry + FREE Shipping!

groupon

This deal is listed as a Huntsville Groupon deal, but since you’re ordering online and the product is being shipped to you, you don’t have to live in Huntsville to take advantage of it!

In this great Groupon deal, you can get $20 worth of hand-stamped jewelry for just $10, and shipping is FREE!  I’ve bought a similar necklace before to give as a gift, and it has gotten rave reviews. This would be a really inexpensive Valentine’s Day gift, but it doesn’t look inexpensive!

Once you’ve signed up for Groupon, you can get $10 worth of Groupon credits when you spread the word and your friends buy a deal, too.

Note: The links in this post are my referral links. Read my Disclosure Policy.

$20 for General Mills Sampler Pack + Coupons – SOLD OUT

General Mills samplerUPDATE:  The Minneapolis offer has already sold out, but there are more available if you try San Francisco. Both locations are now sold out. I hope you were able to get one!

This is a unique offer, one that I’ve never seen through Groupon. For $20, you will receive $40 worth of General Mills products plus a coupon book for future purchases, and shipping right to your doorstep is included. Here’s a list of what you can expect in the box:

  • 12.8 ounce Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal
  • 13 ounce Reese’s Puffs cereal
  • 12 ounce Kix cereal
  • 12.8 ounce Cascadian Farms Organic cereal
  • 5.8 ounce Fiber One 90-Calorie Chewy Bars
  • 5.8 ounce Hamburger Helper
  • 11 ounce Green Giant Corn Niblets
  • 9.5 ounce Old El Paso Tortilla Stuffers
  • 5 ounce Fruit Roll-Ups
  • 10.5 ounce Chex Mix Muddy Buddies snack mix
  • 17.5 ounce Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie mix
  • 13.7 ounce Wanchai Ferry Orange Chicken dinner kit

There is limit of two purchases per person, but two others may be purchased as gifts. This would be a great gift to donate to a food bank or your church’s food pantry, if you wouldn’t use the items yourself. This deal is good for one day only, April 21. Although this deal shows up in the Minneapolis area, it is available nationwide.

It’s true that it is possible that you could find these exact items individually for less than the $1.67 per item that you’ll be paying, but you’re still getting a free coupon book and free shipping, which ought to make up for the cost of the gas you’d be using trying to find those deals.

There are a couple of ways to take advantage of this. You can go here to get started, or go through Ebates to get double cash back (6%) on your purchase, or you can help me purchase one for our church food pantry by going through this link, which will allow me to purchase this deal for only $10.

$50 of Vistaprint for only $10 – 4/20 – EXPIRED

VistaprintI’m excited about this deal. Usually I get things for free through Vistaprint, but sometimes I actually end up paying for bigger Vistaprint items, like the gorgeous VBS banners we got last year, thanks to my talented brother’s design. Well, we’re having VBS again this year, so I’ll need some new banners. And it looks I could get them even cheaper than last year!

Maybe you’re familiar with group deal sites like Groupon, Eversave, and Moolala. There’s another one called Living Social, and through today, you can get a $50 credit to Vistaprint for only $10!

If you’re not already signed up with Living Social, you can go here to get started. You can find the deal under “San Diego” although it’s valid nationwide (except for NY and NC residents).

I think I’ll buy one to get our VBS banners super cheap!

4 passes to Discovery Center in Murfreesboro for just $12

This is a wonderful deal for my local readers, and it’s one that I’ve already taken advantage of. Groupon Nashville is offering four passes to the Discovery Center at Murfree Springs for just $12! That’s a savings of 50%. The passes are valid through May 1, 2011, so you can choose the best time for your family to go. If your family is smaller than four persons, you don’t have to use the passes all at the same time, either.

Here’s a quick recap of what’s there:

The Discovery Center delights rambunctious tots with hands-on educational activities cleverly cloaked as awesome playtime arenas. A museum and nature center at heart, it features exhibits such as a creation station that lets budding Heironymus Bosches craft their first devotional triptychs on cardboard and paper using paint, clay, chalk, and more. A waterworks station elucidates the wonders of physics by lettings little ones crank, squirt, measure, and pour the splashy stuff in a variety of bright, primary-colored contraptions. Action-minded tykes can have fun on a full-sized 1954 Oren fire truck, where kids can glean fire-safety tips while perfecting their mouth-siren sounds. The Discovery Center also honors a culture of outreach, with programs promoting cultural diversity and teaching families healthy eating habits.
Children under age 2 get in free. For more information on the Discovery Center, visit their website.

New to Groupon? It’s free to sign up. I had heard a lot about it, but held off on signing up, but lately I’ve gotten a couple of great deals that have more than paid for themselves. Simply sign up here, then choose Nashville as your city to look for deals. Scroll down to the second sidebar on the right, titled “More Deals Nearby.” You’ll see this offer listed for Murfreesboro.

Like Groupon? Tell your friends! When you refer them and they purchase a Groupon deal, you’ll receive a $10 credit in your account!
